Making Memories
There are a number of charities and services that help with making memories with your baby, including planning funerals.
Judah’s Cloud create clothing especially for babies who are smaller than standard “premature” sized clothing. They believe that babies deserve to be dressed in real clothes no matter what gestation they are born at.
Saying Goodbye offer remembrance services for people who have lost a child at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy.
SiMBA provides memory boxes to bereaved parents to help gather timeless and precious memories of their child.
Aching Arms offer a beautiful comfort bear to fill your arms and a community to support you as you grieve. Each Aching Arms bear is given as a gift from one bereaved family to another, to let you know that you are not alone.
In collaboration with 4 Louis, Ibraheem’s Gift provide a baby loss pack which is culturally appropriate to Muslim families who have experienced the loss of a baby. Each box contains the immediate necessities that parents would need to help them prepare for their baby’s Muslim burial.
4 Louis provide a range of memory services to hospitals who care for bereaved parents. They have many different styles of memory boxes and moses baskets and have funded bereavement rooms across the UK.
Cherished Gowns UK provide the families of babies that are stillborn, miscarried or pass away shortly after birth with items of clothing that they are able to be dressed in for their funeral.
